All Xero Invoice Templates can be edited in Microsoft Word
Insert your Logo into your Xero docx Template
Prior to importing your new Xero docx Template into Xero. Ensure you have included your company logo. You may also need to change some other fields that have been set up in the xero template.
Once you have purchased a Xero invoice template pack from us, download the files to your computer, from here you can open any template. Unzip the file, in this case i am going to unzip Long+Black.zip
Open the folder and select the xero invoice template you would like to edit, open with Microsoft Word.
Click on the logo, find and insert your company logo and resize if required.
Whist you have the template open, you may wish to add in payment details if the invoice template does not include this.
Xero Docx Template – How to upload into Xero
From your Dashboard go to the Business Name > Settings > Invoice Setting
From the New Branding Theme drop down menu choose Custom .docx
Give your New Branding Theme a name Example: Long Black ( Name your template with a name that suits your business )
To upload your new branding template, Click Upload
A box will appear with more options. Click on the:
- Invoice button to upload a Xero Invoice
- Credit Note button to upload a Credit Note
- Statement button to upload a Statement
This will open your browser where you can find the appropriate Xero docx Template to import.
To use your Long Black template in a Sales Invoice.
Create a new invoice.
Click on the Branding (drop down menu) and choose your Long Black.
